Crispy Shrimp Tacos

 

We love tacos any day of the week! And with Trader Joe’s Organic Stone Ground Corn Taco Shells, they’re so easy to make!

Made from stoneground corn, these shells are light, crispy & crunchy. For extra crisp and crunch heat them up in a toaster oven.

In this recipe, TJ’s light and flavorful Shrimp Burger provides protein, the Chunky Guacamole & Pico de Gallo boost flavor, and the shredded cabbage adds a nutritional punch.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Shrimp Seafood Burger

  • ¼ bag organic shredded green & red cabbage

  • ¼ cup Pico de Gallo salsa (mild or spicy)

  • 2 tablespoons Chunky Guacamole

  • 2 Organic Stone Ground Yellow Corn Taco Shells

 

Directions:

  1. Heat the burger according to the package instructions.

  2. Meanwhile, combine the cabbage, salsa and guacamole.

  3. When the burger is ready, cut into small pieces, and add to the cabbage mixture.

  4. Heat the tortillas on a baking sheet in a toaster oven at 350° for 3-5 minutes.

  5. Place a couple spoonfuls of shrimp-cabbage mixture in the center of each tortilla.

  6. Enjoy the rest of the mixture as a side salad with the tacos.
