Nutty Crunchy Berry Cereal
Breakfast cereals get a bad rap. And for good reason. Many of them are full of sugar & refined grains. But they’re not all unhealthy!
A bowl of cereal is a super convenient breakfast on a busy weekday morning. And when you choose the right cereal and combine it with the right ingredients, it can also be a nutritious & well-balanced meal.
Heritage Flakes is one of our favorite cereals because it’s crunchy, delicious, and made with a variety of whole grains. Plus it has:

7 grams of fiber

5 grams of plant protein
- Only 5 grams of sugar (low for a breakfast cereal!)
For extra flavor & nutrition, we add berries & slivered almonds. The berries are full of fiber, vitamin C and antioxidants. And the nuts give us an extra boost of protein & healthy fats.

Ingredients:

1 cup Heritage Cereal
-
½ cup almond milk
-
1 cup mixed berries (your choice of blueberries, raspberries, sliced strawberries, blackberries)

2 tablespoons slivered almonds
Directions:

Place cereal in bowl.

Pour milk over.

Top with berries and slivered almonds.
